This is the era of conveniences. Time, technology or even education have emerged into prominence with the graduation of understanding & accepting new methods. This facility of time & technology has brought those academic degrees, which previously seemed to be impossible to achieve, in the reach of every student. Today, the lack of time, money and the adequacy of personal and professional responsibilities don't matter anymore. Thanks to the radically evolved online learning, today a four years long programme does take only 2 years.

Elevating Confidence & Breaking Away Conventions

When the advent of online education had just occurred, the eminent class of American educators reckoned it as to be better at “providing a wide range of options for curriculum” and offering “good value for the money.” Although traditional education seemed to overshadow this accomplishment back then, according to a recent Gallup report, more U.S. adults agree that online colleges and universities offer high-quality education (37 percent) than did so in 2012 (33 percent) or 2011 (30 percent)

There was a time, when online education was considered as convenient and affordable but insignificant in value and legitimacy. However the time has gone. As online colleges & universities continue to thrive & embrace the needs of students and the marketplace, they have the potential to lower costs and increase accessibility to higher education, disseminating knowledge and skills that may be more relevant to today’s high-tech professional arena.

Replacing Traditional Education

A study by The National Center for Educational Statistics (NCES) validates the figure of 32 percent undergraduate students that prefer to pursue their study while maintaining their full time job, seeking an accessible, flexible, innovative and job-oriented education programme.

Now the crucial question is why the majority of undergraduate learners are inclined towards the ventures of online education? The e-learning programmes not only welcome students into a world of education without boundaries, but they also bestow an abundance of professional aspects.

  • The complications and limitations of time & place are minimized by the Online education programmes.

  • For those, who already started to go ahead with their professional careers, online graduation courses make the resources and technologies affordable and approachable.

  • This breakthrough in education allows people from all over the world to acquire not only a degree but also excellence.

When MOOCs Influence

Since 2011, MOOCs have been creating an immense zeal in academic world, becoming a genre of their own. When the tuition fees went absent, whan the educational courses got more flexible & when education has overcome all the bars, the number of students per course in MOOCs have been increased extensively. Today MOOCs are hosted by many eminent universities around the world , such as Harvard, MIT, Stanford and the list continues to grow.

Still Miles To Go

Online education still has a long road to cover. The sum of Americans, that believe online education is better tool to provide with “high-quality instruction from well-qualified instructors” than traditional chalk-&-talk learning, is still only 15% & even less think “excellent” material is provided by the online learning method.

Eventually it is a proven fact that, online education is stirring American interest, as access and affordability play a more insignificant role in academic discussion.
